The Role Reporting to the Service Foreman, you'll carry out fault diagnosis, repairs and scheduled maintenance using Volvo Tech Tool and other OEM diagnostic platforms. You'll collaborate with experienced pros, mentor apprentices, and continuously grow your skills with inhouse and OEM training. This is a minimum 40 hours a week with a rostered Saturday.

There is also an expectation to work after hours callouts as needed on a rostered basis, and flexibility to travel for work and training as and when required. Why Choose Us? What We're Looking For NZQA Level 4 National Certificate in Heavy Road Transport or Heavy Plant & Equipment (or equivalent) 3 years hands-on experience as a diesel technician (Volvo or other heavy transport brand needed) Current full NZ driver license - minimum Class 2 (ideally up to Class 5 or willing to obtain) A strong commitment to safety and a proactive mindset Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on Strong communication and documentation skills Reliability and willingness to commit to the team If you have experience with European truck brands, Volvo experience, M-code and understand NZTA regulations even better! we'd love to talk to you.
